Some Insight and History
Jay Rossi was born in Cleveland, Ohio. From a very young age, he showed his artistic abilities in visual and graphic expressions such as painting, drawing and sculpting. Dwelling mostly in 'realistic' creations, mostly in pencil, he captivated everyone who viewed his works. As he grew, his abilities were certified as he won award after award.

Over the years he discovered the more immediate satisfaction of creative expression with music. This led to over 1000 live performances before over 1000 audiences. He formed and played in several different bands such as "Loose Change", "Maynard", "Something Different" and "One Night Stand". He also did several shows solo - this was easy for him since he became fluent on several different instruments such as guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals. This greatly helped him to create exciting shows.

About half way through his 25 years of musical experience, Jay began investing time, money and energy in the studio - two of which he built - thus resulting in the production of seven different albums for seven different artists. One of these artists was himself. The production of his first album, "He Only Wants You", not only featured himself, but singing lead on five of the twelve songs was a phenomenal female vocalist named Amber Hollin. Jay says he wrote those songs for a female to sing, and with her voice in mind - even before he heard it! Also singing back-ups on the album was Desiree Emery, Debbie McCurry, Janet Orn and Kathy Dykeshorn.

Although his first album was contemporary Christian/Christian rock, his next album is planned to be more mainstream for the sake of reaching more people of various interests and walks of life. When asked about this change he simply says, "What change? I haven't changed and my faith does not waiver. I just don't believe it's in God's will to be exclusively performing for "church" people. God loves ALL people equally, and as a musician and an artist I would like to follow that example."
